PAYMENTS & REFUND POLICY
At this moment, I am only accepting PayPal transactions with the exception of wedding invitations. There is a $15 deposit upfront for blog designs to hold your place in the queue. Wedding invitations require a $150 deposit after your design is finalized. All payments must be completed before anything is shipped or installed.
Due to the nature custom design work, no refunds can be issued once the work has begun.
STOCK IMAGES & ILLUSTRATIONS
Should any additional stock imagery need to be purchased as part of your design, that cost is additional. I will, of course, run all images by you first and get your approval for purchasing said images.
There is an additional fee if you would like your blog/web design to be mobile responsive. Mobile responsive designs are not guaranteed to display properly on outdated mobile devices.
A $15 deposit is required before your name is added to the queue for all blog, web, and print design packages. The deposit will be deducted from the final price; the remainder will be paid once you approve of the final design and before anything is installed.
There is a $150 deposit for all wedding invitations.
During the design process all communication is conducted via email. Please be sure to check your email regularly throughout the process. I will contact you once I have begun your project. Please note that design time hinges on how quickly we are able to communicate with one another. If I do not hear from you in a timely manner, your design may be put on hold and you will be moved down the queue so I can proceed to work with other clients waiting.
There is no specific time limit for blog and web designs but it usually takes about 2 weeks per design. I will contact you once the work on your design begins and usually, you can expect to receive a draft/mock-up of your design within 3 – 5 days. Each revision round takes 1-3 days depending on how complex your requests are. Once you have approved the final design and paid for your design in full, your design will be go live on your blog/website within 48 hours. Please allow 2 – 3 days for the first invitation draft and an additional 1 – 2 days for changes. Once we have finalized an invitation design, the printing and shipping time is usually an additional 2 weeks.
Wedding invitations depend on the size of the wedding and how elaborate the invitation is. Please contact for further details.
Please note that all timelines are merely estimates and can always change. Delays can occasionally happen due to a variety of reasons and if something comes up, I will definitely let you know. However, this is not considered as grounds for refunds. Regular communication is key and failure to respond in a timely manner can result in unnecessary delays. If I have not heard from you for five (5) business days, your design will be put on hold and other projects will take precedence.
Occasionally I will ask for usernames and passwords of various accounts, included but not limited to hosting servers, blogging platforms and image hosting services. Please know that your privacy is extremely important to me and this information will never be shared, only used for the purpose of completing your project. Please feel free to temporarily change your password(s), or creating temporary users when possible, while working with me.
Your blog/web design will be put together on a live demo site. After viewing the first draft of your design, you are allowed 3 revision rounds: one for major changes such as graphic re-designs and two for smaller edits such as color and font changes. Any additional revisions will be billed separately.
PLEASE note to send all changes and revisions in (preferably) one email and in a bulleted or numbered list. It will make changes much more efficient and give you and I both a quicker turnaround time.
Once your design has been installed, credit will be given to Aliya Rinaldi Designs in the form of an attribution link in the footer which will link back to this site. These links are to remain on your blog until you decide to remove the blog’s design in its entirety. I reserve the right to post any and all completed or uncompleted work in my portfolio and for other promotional purposes at my discretion.
Aliya Rinaldi Designs retains all copyright privileges on designs unless otherwise specified. By purchasing/installing any Aliya Rinaldi Designs products/services, you are given the authorization to use the design, but you may not claim the design as your own.
Each blog/web design includes one full week of support after your design is installed. This means I will adjust any errors with coding or design only. Any work requested after your support period has ended will be charged an hourly fee of $20/hr (half hour minimum).
